Top Toolbar and Menus in Proxima Composer

The top part of the Proxima Composer interface contains the menu bar and the top toolbar. This area gives you access to most features to create and manage your mapping settings.


The Tools

The main toolbar provides quick access to essential tools:

  • Output setup: Output setup icon opens the Output Setup window to configure and launch an advanced projection.
  • Shape drawing tools: use Circle tool, Triangle tool, Square tool, Player tool to drag & drop predefined shapes (circle, triangle, square, or player). Or select the Draw tool Draw or Edit tool Edit tool. See Creative shapes for more.
  • Creative tools:
    • Magnet Snap icon enables/disables Magnet Snap to snap points together automatically.
    • Show All Centers icon enables/disables Show All Centers, keeping Center points visible.
    • Cursor tool icon enables/disables the Cursor tool to display a crosshair in the output.
  • Controls: Controls icon opens the Controls settings window for configuring external controls.

The Menus

The menu bar, located below the title bar, contains drop-down menus categorized for easy access. You can open/save projects, adjust global preferences, or access tools. Some features are only available here, such as Help resources and canvas background options "Show Preview" and "Show Image".
