How can I improve the startup time of my player when using a USB drive with a large number of audio files?

During startup, the player automatically lists all files present on your media storage. If there are many files in each folder, this operation can take time. Due to the technologies integrated into the player, using an SD or SDHC card is preferable. Startup time will be faster with a high-performance SD/SDHC card.

I placed a large number of files in the same folder, but not all seem to be played. Why?

The number of files accepted by the player in a single folder is limited to 999.

I don’t know how my file is encoded. What software can I use to precisely determine the characteristics of my file (format, type, encoding, bitrate, etc.)?

If you don’t already have software for this purpose, you can use MediaInfo (http://mediaarea.net/fr/MediaInfo). This BSD-licensed software is free and can be used on any operating system (Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux).

I correctly named the autoplay folder as 000, but the player only reads it once and then stops. What’s the issue?

By default, folders are not played in a loop. For a folder to loop, a specific parameter must be added to the folder name. This parameter is a jump function executed at the end of the folder’s complete playback. To play your folder in a loop, rename the autoplay folder from 000 to 000 [J000]. For more information on folder parameters, refer to your user manual.

I created the config.txt and serial.txt text files as indicated in the documentation, but the player does not follow the instructions I included in the configuration file. Why?

Ensure that the config.txt and serial.txt files were generated using a basic text editor such as Windows Notepad. Otherwise, your text editor must be able to create an ANSI file, 100% ASCII. DOC, RTF, UTF-8, UTF-16, UNICODE, or other formats should be avoided.
