Known issues
- In the
Settings
→System
menu of the server’s web administration, reboot, shutdown, or update operations may generate exception error messages. These are due to theSystem Monitoring
not being active during these processes.
Installation
The Proxima server runs on firmware. Follow these instructions to update it and benefit from new features or fixes.
Update Procedure
- Contact us to get the update
- Connect to the web administration of the Proxima server.
- In the
My files
menu, create a root folder namedUPDATE
. - Copy the firmware
.pxu
file in theUPDATE
folder. - In the
Settings
->System
menu, click on theUPDATE
button. Just click once on the button and wait that the update dialog box appears. Do not turn off the Proxima server until the operation is completed! and wait until the Proxima server reboots completely. - When the Proxima server is fully rebooted, the firmware installation is finished and the firmware
.pxu
file can be removed.
The installed firmware version can be checked into the Settings
-> About
page of the Proximaserver's web administration.
