Getting Started with the IR Pad

The IR Pad detects the movement of warm moving elements (people or animals). 

After an initialization period of up to 1 minute, during which the IR Pad output state is undetermined, the IR Pad stabilizes and is ready to normally detect movements. The IR Pad output state is then open.

When movement is detected, the IR Pad output state switches to closed. It will remain closed for 8 seconds (with a tolerance of +/- 30%) after the last movement detection before returning to its open state.

IR Pad Installation

The detector is designed to be embedded in a wall, board, plasterboard, etc. Drill diameter: 16.5 mm

Connection

Red wire: Positive power supply (+V) - 7V to 18V

Black wire: Negative power supply (GND)

Yellow wire: Switching output (OUT)
