Purpose
- Adjust the player's main volume.
- Player behavior: the main volume affects the player's overall volume, regardless of the outputs used or the current playback context. This setting adjusts the main volume attenuation level.
Procedure
Select a volume level between 0 dB (no attenuation) and -64 dB (muted).
Methods
| Method | Procedure |

| Front panel knob | Turn the knob clockwise to increase the volume and counterclockwise to decrease it. |
| Web browser | User page → Volume: → Select a volume level or MUTE → Click Apply to confirm. |
| Infrared remote control | Press - to decrease the volume or + to increase it. |
| Schedule file (Scheduler) | In an event → Add a VOLUME command with a volume attenuation value. |
| RS-232 serial connection (My Music Player only) | Refer to the RS-232 serial protocol. |
