The Ethernet page allows you to configure various network settings for the player, as well as access to the FTP and Samba servers.

Ethernet General Parameters

DHCP	Enables or disables automatic network configuration via DHCP. `On` = DHCP enabled / `Off` = DHCP disabled.
IP address	Displays the player’s current IP address (Actual Value) and sets its static IP address when `DHCP = Off`.
Subnet mask	Displays the subnet mask address (Actual Value) and sets it when `DHCP = Off`.
Gateway	Displays the network gateway’s IP address (Actual Value) and sets it when `DHCP = Off`.
MAC address	Displays the player’s MAC address.
DNS auto	Enables or disables the DNS domain name resolution service. `On` = DNS enabled / `Off` = DNS disabled.
Primary DNS	Displays the IP address of the player’s primary DNS server (Actual Value) and sets it when `DNS auto = Off`.
Alternative DNS	Displays the IP address of the player’s secondary DNS server (Actual Value) and sets it when `DNS auto = Off`.

Username	Sets the username for access to the embedded FTP server (default: `ftp`).
Password	Sets the password for access to the embedded FTP server (default: `ftp`).

Off	Disables the Samba server.
Server	Enables the Samba server.
Workgroup	Sets the Samba server’s workgroup name (default: `WORKGROUP`).
NetBIOS	Sets a custom NetBIOS name for the player. If left empty, the NetBIOS name is `mmp-` followed by the player’s hexadecimal serial number (default: empty).
Server string	Sets the player’s name as displayed on a Samba network (default: `MyMusicPlayer`).
Username	Sets the username for access to the embedded Samba server (default: empty).
Password	Sets the password for access to the embedded Samba server (default: empty).

Save: Applies and saves all settings on the Ethernet page.
