Reset Player Configuration

This procedure explains how to reset the configuration of the AP420 player.

  1. Turn off the player.
  2. Press and hold the power button while turning on the player.
  3. Hold the power button for more than 10 seconds until the 3 LEDs (green NL, orange NA, and red PA) are continuously lit.
  4. Release the power button.
  5. To select the player configuration reset process, press the power button twice so that only the orange LED (NA) is lit.
  6. Hold the power button for 3 seconds; the power button flashes white.
  7. The factory reset is in progress.
  8. At the end of the reset, the power button flashes green to indicate success.
  9. Press the power button to restart the player.


Result

Your AP420 player is now reset.

This procedure explains how to reset the configuration and data (media library and calendar) of the AP420 player.

  1. Turn off the player.
  2. Press and hold the power button while turning on the player.
  3. Hold the power button for more than 10 seconds until the 3 LEDs (green NL, orange NA, and red PA) are continuously lit.
  4. Release the power button.
  5. To select the player configuration and data reset process, press the power button three times so that only the red LED (PA) is lit.
  6. Hold the power button for 3 seconds; the power button flashes white.
  7. The factory reset is in progress.
  8. At the end of the reset, the power button flashes green to indicate success.
  9. Press the power button to restart the player.


Result

Your AP420 player is now reset to factory settings with data deleted.
