The HyperSound® directional audio system has a limited bandwidth. In particular, low frequencies can cause distortion. This is why audio files should be mastered by limiting dynamics and boosting voices.
The 1 to 2 kHz band should be amplified while low frequencies should be attenuated or even removed below 500 Hz.
A 3 to 6 dB reduction in the [6; 8] kHz band will reduce brightness at these frequencies.
In the case of use with a subwoofer, a cutoff frequency of 500 Hz with a 6 dB/octave slope is recommended.
Choosing the Right Audio Support
One of the most important criteria is to choose an audio support that can be heard clearly despite ambient noise.
For optimal playback, it is preferable to choose audio files with the following characteristics:
- Close to the frequencies of the human voice (300-7000 Hz) or within this range.
- Without marked sound contrasts (many low-volume sections and high-volume sections within the same piece).
If multiple sound zones need to each broadcast different multimedia content, each stream then requires its own audio source and its own amplifier.
