Using serial communication in Show Control Editor

Show Control Editor lets you add a Serial Communication track to projects intended for the Event Video Player EVP380.

Serial command frames

Serial command frames can be edited:

• in ASCII, with CR/LF code options;
• in hexadecimal format.

The color and comments associated with serial command frames can also be edited.

Importing and exporting commands

Serial command frames can be imported from and exported to a serial.txt file.

Export for the EVP380

When creating a .SC3 Show Control file, serial command frames can be embedded in the exported file.

Preview

With the Event Video Player EVP380, serial command frames from the serial.txt file can be previewed in real time over the Art-Net connection.
