Why are some MP3 files not playing correctly on my player?

Modified on Tue, 18 Aug at 5:33 PM

If your MP3 files are not playing correctly on your Nano Player Box, this may be due to format incompatibilities or the presence of metadata.

Here’s how to diagnose and resolve this issue.

Steps to follow

  1. Check the audio specifications: Ensure that the bitrate, number of channels, resolution and encoding type of your MP3 file comply with your player’s specifications.
  2. Remove metadata: ID1 and ID2 tags may prevent the file from playing. Use software such as winamp (Windows) or Mp3Tag (Mac) to remove these tags and retain only the relevant audio data.
