Why do I hear brief interruptions when playing certain MP3 files?

Modified on Tue, 18 Aug at 5:23 PM

Brief interruptions when playing MP3 files on your Nano Player Box may be due to the bitrate being set too high. Here’s how to fix it.

Recommended solution

On players in the NanoPlayer range, it is recommended that you use MP3 files encoded at a maximum of 128 kbps.

It is therefore not recommended to use files encoded at 192 kbps, 256 kbps or 320 kbps.

If you require higher quality, opt for the WAV format rather than MP3.
