In certain situations, such as an incorrect operation, forgotten passwords, or a new installation, you may need to reset the EventPlayer mkII to its original factory settings. In this case, all configuration settings will be erased, and you will need to configure the Options menu as you would for a new device.
To perform a factory reset and restore all settings to their default values:
- Make sure the player is switched off.
- Press and hold the Volume/Menu button on the front panel.
- Switch on the player while keeping the button pressed.
- As soon as the message "factory reset" appears on the display, release the button and wait.
- When the reset process is complete, the usual welcome message will appear.
- Enter the Options menu to configure the required settings, such as the time and date.
